BOOK REVIEW - Celiac Disease - A Hidden Epidemic.

Updated: Aug 14, 2021

This was my go-to book of Celiac Disease when I was diagnosed!

Celiac Disease A Hidden Epidemic

This book on Celiac Disease was soo good, I thought I’d read it again whilst enjoying lunch on a ship bound for Tasmania! Dr Green speaks of Inflammation. I feel this topic is very much an unknown major issue to most people, so rather than just going for a ‘Gluten-Free life and all will be well' approach, I love the cold hard facts on how serious this condition is, and it reinforced my research so far.

I love the emphasis on the long term issues that suffering with Celiac Disease presents and also that Dr Green speaks of Inflammation. I feel this topic is very much an unknown major issue to most people, so rather than just going for a ‘Gluten-Free life and all will be well' approach, I love the cold hard facts on how serious this condition is, and it reinforced my research so far.

Even if you're not a diagnosed Celiac, I couldn’t recommend this book more highly and feel that you will gain some valuable knowledge on inflammation and improve your overall health.
